23 year old Samy Hamila, Tunisian-American, has managed to build a notoriety in his country that extends far beyond its borders to international audiences.

Samy maintains constant awareness to grasp the gentleness of a moment, the emotion in a glance, and above all the essence of the beauty of the creatures he captures. After attending film school, he realized his fascination for photography stemmed from the ability to tell a story using only one static image. Through spending hundreds of hours perfecting his craft he has gradually developed his trademark: the intimate feminine portrait.

Drawing from his cinematic and musical background, Samy continues his ascent by focusing more on what is behind the images and the objective, and by establishing a trusting relationship with his models, through which he sees himself.
His secret: "My objective is to make sure that my images are like a song. You feel when you hear music, a song puts you in a special atmosphere and takes you somewhere, that's what I aim for"
